Yet another case of the perennial blogger problem: resisting the urge to dive into the mouthwatering goodness of the plate in front of you for the sake of blog-worthy photos. These ones however, do no justify the sweetness overload at Cafe Publico.
Cafe Publico is one of the many recommendations of a good friend of mine. And I must say, none has disappointed me yet.
Food is the one thing I feel least hesitant to spend on. Cafe Publico is not exorbitantly-priced; it costs just about the same as your normal cup of coffee in say, Starbucks or Coffee Bean. The delightful dish I sampled was the cheese Belgian waffle a la mode, topped with Pili-Ube gelato. It’s a burst of flavor once it hits your mouth; the ube’s sweetness is just right and the cheese in the waffle hits the combination home.
As you can see on the menu board, they have a good variety of gelato flavors. I was told they serve these in rotation, so if there’s a particular one you’d want to try, a next visit is guaranteed.
Cafe Publico is located at 2nd Level, Greenhills Promenade, Greenhills Shopping Center.
